Welcome to the last weigh-in before Christmas. Show us your numbers, and tell us if you've got a strategy to survive the coming week of food and fun, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the son of God, and Saviour of the world.
218.4 That's down 4.2 on last week. I'm not really sure how come it's down that much, but probably the fact that I've got an icky cold and probably have had a smaller appetite has helped. Anyway, i'm not complaining! It's the lowest number I've seen in a while.
162.2 Happy cos thats down on last week despite some festive eating. Strategy for Christmas is to have a little of the all the nice things I like but not too much of anything. Try to avoid too many sweets just for the sake of it. Savoury is good.
Strategy at Christmas is to eat when hungry, stop when full as always. But with Holidays I need to be extra careful not to graze all day and to really stop when I am full. I need to be proactive and aware. That way I will get to enjoy the food without feeling sick afterward.
I forgot to weigh in this morning. The scales got moved out of the bathroom by the builders last week and I couldn't be bothered to look for them this morning. I'll try to remember tomorrow.
Strategies? What are they? :o) Trying not to eat because I'm bored or tired or the food's just there.
I think you people who forgot its because nothing is normal so you forget what day it is. Don't worry I nearly forgot. Think I am going down with something like Debs has whcih is likely to mean eatin less cos my apetite is gone.
The gym is closed today because of the snow, so I can't weigh in, but I was 194.5 on Saturday. I was pretty thrilled to see that number, actually, because my eating has been, well, "festive" (I'm Jewish, and the boy and I started in with the latkes at least a week ago) and the snow has been messing up my exercise routine.
Strategies for the coming week: as Elly said, privilege the savory over the sweet, and small portions of everything. I'm also going to look for ways to get a workout in without going to the gym--yesterday the gym was closed, but I walked a mile in calf-deep unshovelled snow to get to a friend's Chanukah party, which was definitely a work out!

144.down 1.
I just hope I can resist all the home cooking. It's my first Christmas at home with all of my family in years. I'm so excited.
Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
I seriously forgot to step on the scale. Don't know how that happened.

Happy holidays to all!
193. That's up 4 from last week, but I've got a good reason that I'm not really going to get into right now! ;-)
Anyway, I'm starting a new eating strategery tomorrow.
I was at 184.4 this a.m. I think that's up .4 from last time. :)
184.8 Up 0.6.
That would be the effect of a week with several dinners, parties and mince pies.
