Challenge Check in

It's been a while since I posted a check in for challenge participants. Is anyone still with me?
I must admit that I've done horribly at spending purposeful time in the Word. It doesn't look like I'll reach 180 either BUT I'm still working on it. I am however working on finishing a current class and will be working on the final project this weekend and then taking my final next week. After I'm done with this class I'll be starting 2 more.

So, hows it going for you?

To be honest, i have no idea what my goals were. Dealing with comfort eating was one of them, and i kinda went the wrong way on it. But I'm trying real hard this week to turn it around. I'm not sure i'll get down to 200, but I'll get as near as I can.

I've appreciated the challenge because it has made me work harder to get to the gym three times a week. I've done well with that, but I'm not sure if I'll get to 190 by January 1. Right now I'm hovering about halfway there (or at least I was before Thanksgiving), but I'm fluctuating so much it's hard to tell where I am. Unfortunately, reading the Torah portion each week didn't happen. I read it once and loved how it deepened my Shabbat, but I just haven't been disciplined about it.

I'm doing rubbishly on the weight loss front. I've done one session of working through 'What Colour is Your Parachute?'. I'll try to get back to it.
I have been spending more time reading my Bible and praying though, so that's progress.

I've done so-so. One of my goals was to read two book, I've read one so far and started on the 2nd. My other goal was to clean out my closet and my daughter's closet, I'm just about done with her closet. My 3rd goal was getting down to 178-179 and lately I've been going the wrong way on that.

Since becoming pregnant, most responsibilities have been put on the back burner...except for the totally necessary ones. Even then, some of those have been neglected too! ;-)

I am not giving up, though. I really want to memorize those verses and finish the book.

Thanks for checking on us!
