New Recipe

I found this recipe for Cannellini Bean and Sausage Stew with Tomatoes and Basil over on Kalyn's Kitchen and I'm going to be trying it today. I'll let you know what I think, but having oohed and ahhed over the pictures and description, I reckon I'm going to like it!

Have you tried any new recipes lately? Care to share?

This looks yummy Debs, let us know how it turns out.

I did try a Mexican Chicken Casserole: http://cristinasfitnessblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/mexican-chicken-casserole.html

And I don't really care for oatmeal but today I'm going to try this to see if I can get past the not liking it: http://cook.scalejunkie.com/2008/11/chocolate-peanut-butter-cup-oatmeal.html

I haven't tried anything new, maybe that is part of my problem. But I am interested to see how you like this.

It tasted really good. Didn't look anything much like the pic on Kalyn's blog, but then nothing I make from there ever does!
Tasted delicious, and not very labour intensive. Warming and yummy. Good winter food :)

One of my staples is about a half cup of whole wheat cous cous mixed with about a quarter cup of Trader Joe's organic vodka tomato sauce, over a bed of spinach. It's really simple and filling. Sometimes I add other veggies depending on what I have on hand, like broccoli or cut up bell peppers.
