Tell me about yourself...

So I feel like I kinda know you gals/guy, but I would love to know more about you. Tell us all something about yourself we all don't know. It can be diet/not diet related. I just thought it would be fun for everyone to get to know each other a little better?! Maybe you all have done something like this while I was ignoring the fact that I was getting fat again? Tell us something anyway.

I love polka dots. I have for years. Not too sure why, but I love em'. I am 29 (for another couple months at least) and married with 3 kids. I homeschool my oldest while the other 2 run around crazily playing. I love the Lord. No real interests or hobbies. Yeah, that's about it. What about you people?

My mind's gone blank, but I'll be back :)

I'm (shhhhhh) 37, going on 38 in a couple of months. I have a 4 year old daughter and will have been married 11 years in a couple of weeks.
I enjoy scrapbooking...didn't really get into this until I had my daugher.
I'm also a software developer.
And there you have it....

I'm 32...33 in May. I have 2 awesome boys ages 5 and 12. The Lord has blessed me with a great job and I FINALLY live in my hometown again!! YAY. And today I woke up to frozen pipes. :-(

There is so much I love to do. I love being with family and friends...even if we are doing nothing at all. Goofy fact: Since moving home... I've helped my dad cut wood and found that I LOVE to use a chainsaw!! LOL

Great idea, Nikki.

I am 54, married for 31 years and have 3 daughters, Bekki, Debs who are both on here and HP who sometimes comments. HP is getting married this year so that is giving us plenty to organise. I am a dyslexia specialist teacher who works part time.
I was a full time mum for 18 years and feel very priveleged to have had that chance. However I didn't home school. I think it was virtually unheard of here in the UK when my girls started school. It is more common now and I know a few families who do, still very much in the minority though even in church circles. I think I would have the confidence to do it now but I certainly didn't at the relevant time.
I am a Christian. I enjoy crosswords, swimming, singing and reading children's books (they are shorter and I have to keep up with my pupils - that's my excuse anyway).
My car sadly died just before Christmas but I bought a new (to me) one yesterday and will pick it up next week. I can't wait.

Hi Y'all!
I am a Christian, 33, and live in Waco, TX with my husband (Bird) 2 sons (9 and 7) and daughter (5 in Feb.)

I graduated from Baylor with a major in special ed. and have taught and been an ABA therapist for children who have autism for several years. I now do that "on the side" as I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools and I am so blessed to be able to do so (thank you, God and Bird!)

I reached my goal weight on this site and went on to maintain. Now I am steadily gaining in anticipation of the birth of our 4th child in June. I feel him/her kick all of the time now and it's the coolest thing!

Interesting factiod: I had to have C-sections with my first two and was able to have a non-medicated VBAC with my daughter...praying for another with this one.

I love to cook and read...and laugh! ;-)

Wow Brandi that is great. Our hospital here won't allow v-bac's here. You are so blessed to be able to do that! How many weeks are you now?

Brandi said...

I'm 18 weeks...so you mean they won't let you plan a VBAC or they will perform a C-section against your will?

I am 26 (I just wrote 24, and then thought, hang on a min ,that's totally wrong!)I'll be 27 in May.

I started out at 294lb, and today I was 223.6.
I've been as low as 205 ish, but put on a bit of weight in the last few months.

At the moment I look after two adorable children 2 days a week.
I'm job hunting for something that will pay a bit more..!
I'm also trying to figure out just what it is I want to do with my life.

I've met the man that I want to marry, and he wants to marry me too, so that's good ;) So just watch this space!

Hmm, one way to announce it to the world, Debs! I take it you're not officially engaged yet?
