Anybody out there???

Hi everyone,

Just curious if anyone still stops by from time to time and if so, are you interested in jumping back on the weight loss wagon? I realize we are all really busy and daily or weekly posts may be a lot, but maybe we could do bi-weekly posts ot something similiar? Since I have let my weight creep back up almost 20 lbs, I could really use the support. I seemed to do better when I was held accountable by you all on this site. Hope there are some of you out there! ;)

Hi Christy!

I'm glad I stumbled across your post. I have the site on my google reader but have gotten used to not even checking. When I signed on to post something on my own blog I noticed activity over here and came over to check it out.

Yeah, I've gained back every ounce I lost and then some. I've been avoiding the scale like the plague, so I couldn't even say where I'm at now. But just today I was going through my closet and tried on some of my old work uniforms (khaki pants). I haven't worn them in over 2 years now, but only because khakis have never been a wardrobe choice for me. Turns out I couldn't wear them even if I wanted to! So that was rather disheartening.

Anywho, I'm definitely interested in some accountability. My problem is I need to EXERCISE. I definitely have the time these days, just not the motivation. *sigh*

I hope there are some others out there who can join in!

I am so IN!

My weight crept back up after Sophia, and it's up way up more than I was when I first started this thing. I somehow put back on over 100lb from my lowest weight (I wasn't that low when I got pregnant, but it's still very bad)

Anyway, it crept back up to 316lb.
I officially started doing something about it on about the 4th or 5th of July and lost a few pounds. I sprained my ankle badly on Saturday, so i haven't weighed myself in a few days, but i know i'm down from my starting point a bit! I have been doing pretty good with my eating the last few days, so i'm feeling a bit more in control.
I definately need to get back on the exercise wagon too

YAY!!! I'm so glad you guys are back! By the way Debs, Sophia is absolutely gorgeous!! I get to see pictures on facebook.

Debbie, I have checked your blog a few times too. I'm officially a "lurker". ;)

So what do you think about weigh ins? As of now, I am using Mondays, but I just really started back last Monday. So, only one weigh in. Maybe we can start an "official" start date again in the next week or so. I think if the three of us start, eventually more people will come. It seems that's how the original OWOA started. Let me know what you think. I'm really looking forward to the accountability and especially the "web fellowship".

I'm happy to start posting official weigh ins on a Monday again. I like Mondays cos it makes me think more about what i eat at the weekend!

And i can post on my blog that it's starting again. Oh yay, it's good to be doing this again.

My ankle is still sore and bruised so can't do a lot yet, but hopefully i can build up to it over the next week or so. I weighed myself last night and things are going down, so that's great :)

Shall i do a weigh in post on monday?

I like Mondays too, Debs. If weigh ins were a different day, I may not do so well on the weekends. Sounds GREAT to me. I'm so looking forward to posting here again. I have lost a few pounds from my highest a couple of weeks ago, but I am gonna start fresh on Monday with that weight. Again....YAY, YAY, YAY!!

Ok, so Mondays it is then!
I need to mentally prepare for this...Lol!
I have a request, tho. Could we either move down or remove the Recent Comments box on the top right? It's scary clicking onto the blog and seeing my weight first thing on the comment box! Or maybe I'm just weird...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to starting this journey again with you ladies! Hope y'all are having a great weekend!

Boo, i'll play around with thelayout. I like having that box, but sure, we can make it lower.
