Thankful Thursday

What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for the beautiful sunny weather we've had the last couple of days.

I'm thankful for my friend who is a physio therapist and has been working on my ankle.

I'm thankful that God loves me and has a plan for my life.

[This is also an optional weigh-in]
[Boo, I hope I didn't jump on your toes by posting this!]

I'm also thankful I'm down 5.8 since Monday (some of that was bloat, I believe)

[ABSOLUTELY not, since I forget to do it every week. Sorry!]

I'm thankful that I'm in God's will and He's gone out of His way to assure me of that.

I'm thankful for letters from home!

I'm thankful for fun times with fun friends.

I'm thankful for not being afraid to dream.

I'm trying to be thankful for people in my life who are challenging me to step out of my comfort zone (such as being second in command for a shift at the shelter come saturday AND leading shifts in a couple weeks time! yikes!)

I'm thankful that I'm actually losing weight even though I'm not completely intentional.

I'm thankful that my husband is coming home today.
I'm thankful for the freedom that I have to worship God.
I'm thankful to know the one true God.
I'm thankful that my husband still has a job and we can afford food, water and heat.
I'm thankful that despite being up 1.6 pounds (those cookies still haven't come off!) that I have a chance to work it off.
I'm thankful that I can get on the treadmill.

I'm thankful that I've gone down in weight...ha ha ha! I'm down to 188.2 this morning. I think I weighed in at 192 on Monday. My goal is to stay at this for this coming Monday's weigh in.

I'm thankful my children today, even if they make me want to run away pulling my hair out as I go.

I might weigh in on Friday am, big Cub scout camping trip this weekend. :o)

My heart just overflows with gratitude to the Lord (and to my hard-working husband) for the privilege of being home with my precious children all day.

Having a 3 year season of working part-time outside of my home may have been just what I needed to appreciate what a blessing full-time mommying is. I love it!! I am not saying it's easy...but what truly good things in this life are easy to come by?

Sacrifice?..yes. Payoff?..immeasurable.

(Thanks for indulging me. :-) )

My weigh-in:
124 (within range.)
